Dr. Ron Sauer

Dr. Sauer is a professor of Greek at Moody Bible Institute. He holds a BA from Mississippi College, THM from Dallas Theological Seminary and a PhD from the University of Manchester, England.

A personal testimony from Christine, a former student of Dr. Sauer's:

How grateful am I to my Lord Jesus Christ for providing the way to know Him through His costly death and resurrection from the grave. Faithfully He has instructed, led, disciplined and loved me through this life's journey. I had a huge desire to learn the Greek language so that I could be sure what was taught me was something I could verify to the bare bones beginning of where God's Word started in the original language. I was led to Moody Bible Institute to take Greek. I'm so grateful to my friend Poco at Moody who told me to take Dr. Sauer for Greek. I have been greatly encouraged to stay in God's Word daily and to trust my God. Dr. Sauer is the most humble, God fearing, loving man that I know. Listening to his teaching God's Word to a church that he has ministered to in the past is like an enjoyable look together into God's pure Word. I come away always with a great joy and deeper awareness of how GREAT is our God and though times are hard, I am confident that my God reigns on high and I want Him always on the throne of my heart.

I know you will be encouraged too as God's Word is taught verse by verse in a very clear way. May we too study God's precious, valuable Word daily and gain God's perspective on everything and grow up and walk by faith, not by sight and was said of Ezra (7:9-10): Know the good hand of the Lord upon us!
